About Nevada Farm Bureau Membership
When you become a member of Nevada Farm Bureau you are supporting Nevada's largest farmer/rancher advocacy organization. We support the farmers and ranchers that supply our food and fiber.
Nevada Farm Bureau is comprised of 11 active county Farm Bureau's. When you join, you become a member of the County Farm Bureau in the County that you live in. However, since there is not an active County Farm Bureau in every County, you may select a different County Farm Bureau.
Nevada Farm Bureau has three levels of membership that include Farmer/Ranchers, Commercial/Industrial Member and Associate Member.
Farmer/Rancher: Farmers and Ranchers are voting members. There are monthly County Farm Bureau meetings where farmers and ranchers meet and discuss farm/ranch policy and other agricultural related matters. They have voting power and help for the annual Nevada Farm Bureau policy which is finalized at the Nevada Farm Bureau Annual Meeting. Farmer/Rancher members also receive the Agriculture & Livestock Journal, a monthly members only publication. The annual membership is $75.00.
Commercial/Industrial: Commercial/Industrial is comprised of businesses and corporations who support farmers and ranchers that supply our food and fiber. The annual membership is $100
Associate: Associate members of the Nevada Farm Bureau are members who either support our farmers and ranchers or own an Insurance Policy through COUNTRY Financial. Associate Members have the same membership benefits as Farmers and Ranchers. Associate members receive the County Politan, which is a quarterly members only publication that is directed towards non farmers/ranchers. The annual membership is $15.00.
