Help Nevada Students Discover the Wonder of Agriculture

The Nevada Farm Bureau Heritage Foundation is proud to introduce the Plant Knowledge. Grow Futures. Classroom Seed Kit Campaign, an initiative designed to bring agriculture to life for Kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms across Nevada.

Through this program, teachers receive everything they need to create a fun, hands-on learning experience that helps students understand healthy soil, plant growth, and where their food comes from.

For many children, this will be their very first opportunity to plant a seed, care for a living plant, and watch it grow. These simple experiences help build an appreciation for agriculture while encouraging curiosity, responsibility, and environmental stewardship.

What’s Included?

Each Classroom Seed Kit is designed for up to 25 students and includes:

• 📖 One copy of The Soil in Jackie’s Garden
• 🍃 One Educator’s Guide with engaging classroom lesson plans and activities
• 📚 25 Soil Ag Mags (one for every student)
• 🌻 25 complete sunflower growing kits (one for every student)
