Humboldt County

Humboldt County is the alfalfa hay capital in Nevada with 216,000 tons produced in 2009. Humboldt County is also the potato and mint capital of Nevada. Wheat is also grown in Humboldt County. According to the 2012 Census of Agriculture there are 359 farms/ranches in Humboldt County making up 808,872 acres.
