Continuing Education Scholarship

The Nevada Heritage Foundation supports the education and future success of Nevada’s youth pursuing careers in agriculture and ag-business. This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to hardworking students who demonstrate dedication to the agricultural industry and are continuing their education in an agriculture-related field.

Up to two scholarships may be awarded each year in the amounts of $2,000 and $1,000.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

• Grew up in Nevada and graduated from a Nevada high school

• Currently enrolled in a traditional or non-traditional post-secondary program

• Pursuing a career path in agriculture or ag-business

• Completed at least one year of post-secondary education

• Must be a student from a Nevada Farm Bureau member family

• An interview may be required for top applicants prior to selection

Application Requirements

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants must submit:

1. A completed application form

2. A copy of most recent transcript

3. Two (2) letters of recommendation
