Women in Agriculture Spotlight Series: Sarah Stallard

As we continue our Women in Agriculture Spotlight Series, the Nevada Farm Bureau is proud to recognize women who are leading the future of agriculture through their dedication, knowledge, and service.

This week, we are excited to spotlight Sarah Stallard, a leader whose passion for agriculture extends from the farm to organizations that help shape the future of our industry.

At just 35 years old, Sarah has already built an impressive career in agriculture. For the past eight years, she has served as the Farm Manager at LVL, where she oversees all aspects of the operation. Her responsibilities include managing daily farm operations, ensuring the health and well-being of the livestock, and leading a team of 10 employees.

Sarah’s leadership is built on a strong educational foundation. She earned her Master of Science in Animal Science from Colorado State University in 2017, combining advanced education with practical experience to help strengthen Nevada agriculture.

Her commitment to agriculture doesn’t stop when the workday ends.

Sarah is deeply involved in serving Nevada’s agricultural community through several leadership roles. She currently serves as the Nevada Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Chair, where she is passionate about developing the next generation of agricultural leaders and encouraging young producers to become involved in Farm Bureau.

For the past eight years, Sarah has also represented Nevada as a Delegate to the National Pork Board, helping ensure Nevada producers have a voice in national discussions impacting the pork industry.

In addition, she serves on the Nevada FFA State Board, supporting agricultural education and helping inspire young people to pursue careers in agriculture.

Whether she’s managing livestock, mentoring future leaders, or representing Nevada agriculture at the state and national level, Sarah exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose and serve others.

Her dedication reminds us that the future of agriculture depends on leaders who are willing to invest not only in their operations but also in the people and organizations that make our industry stronger.
